Croatian Kneaded Crepes with Peppercorn Cream
A unique and creamy dessert inspired by Croatian flavors. The kneaded dough is filled with a rich peppercorn cream and served with a touch of Croatian flair.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- β3 Large eggs
- β1 cup Milk
- β2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- β1 cup Peppercorn creamsee notes
- βpinch Salt
- β1 cup Powdered sugar

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.

Add a pinch of salt and stir to combine.

The batter should still be slightly lumpy.

Heat a small non-stick pan over medium heat.

Pour a small amount of the batter into the pan and tilt to coat the bottom.

Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to curl.

Loosen the crepe with a spatula and flip.

Cook for another minute, until the other side is lightly browned.

Repeat with the remaining batter, until all the crepes are cooked.

To make the peppercorn cream, combine the heavy cream, peppercorns, and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan.

Strain the cream through a fine-mesh sieve, into a bowl.
