Mexican Tlayudas
A Mexican flatbread dish topped with creamy sauce, rice, and noodles.
Ingredients
- β4-6 Tlayudasflat, crispy tortillas
- β1 cup Mexican Saucecreamy sauce made with sour cream, lime juice, and spices
- β1 cup Cooked Ricecooked white or brown rice
- β1 cup Cooked Noodlescooked and drained noodles
- β1/4 cup Chopped Cilantrochopped fresh cilantro
- β1/2 cup Diced Oniondiced red onion
- β1 cup Shredded Cheeseshredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Bake the tlayudas for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy.

In a large skillet, heat the Mexican sauce over medium heat.

Add the cooked rice and noodles to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the chopped cilantro, diced onion, and shredded cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.

Spoon the rice and noodle mixture onto the baked tlayudas.

Return the tlayudas to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
