Pan-Seared Snapper with Stir Fry Sauce
A flavorful and easy-to-make pan-seared snapper dish served with a creamy stir fry sauce. This recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β4 Snapper fillets
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β1 medium Bell pepperchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flourfor dusting snapper
- β1/2 cup Creamy stir fry saucestore-bought or homemade

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the snapper fillets with salt and pepper. Dust with flour, shaking off excess.

Add the snapper to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove the snapper from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook until tender.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Stir in the creamy stir fry sauce and bring to a simmer.

Return the snapper to the skillet and spoon some of the stir fry sauce over the top.
