Smoked Cream Gratin
A rich and creamy gratin infused with the smoky flavor of smoked cheese.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 cups heavy creamcold
- ●1 cup, shredded gruyère cheese, smokedat room temperature
- ●1 cup gratinavailable already grated
- ●to taste salt
- ●to taste black pepperfreshly ground

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and smoked Gruyère cheese.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the cheese is melted.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Gruyère cheese.

Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.

Pour the cream and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese on top of the cream mixture.

Bake the gratin in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
