Kasha Pilaf with Ukrainian Twist
A traditional Ukrainian dish with a creamy twist.

Ingredients
- β1 cup Kasha (buckwheat groats)
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- β1 tablespoon Pilaf mix (with spices and herbs)
- β1 cup Heavy cream
- β Chopped fresh dill (optional)for garnish

Instructions

Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add pilaf mix and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add kasha and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until kasha is tender.
