Hyderabadi Thali
A traditional Indian thali recipe from the city of Hyderabad. This dish combines the flavors of the region with a variety of vegetables and ham.
Ingredients
- β4-6 pieces Charred Naanpreferably homemade
- β1 cup Hyderabadi Ham Currysee below for ingredients
- β1 cup Mixed Vegetablessuch as carrots, potatoes, and peas
- β1 cup Crunchy Raitayogurt with cucumber and cumin
- β1 cup Indian Cucumber Saladwith cumin, coriander, and cilantro
- β2 cups Basmati Ricepreferably cooked fresh
- β2 tablespoons Gheefor serving
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantrofor garnish

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender.

In a separate pan, heat ghee over medium heat.

Add the Hyderabadi ham curry and cook until heated through.

Serve the basmati rice with the vegetables and curry.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with charred naan on the side.

For the crunchy raita, mix yogurt with cucumber, cumin, and coriander.
