Crisp Beef Tagine
A twist on traditional Moroccan tagine, this dish features crispy beef and a tangy citrus sauce.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Beef (thinly sliced)Cut into thin strips for crispy exterior
- ●1 cup Crisp (chopped)For garnish
- ●2 tablespoons Citrus (juice)Lemon or orange juice
- ●2 tablespoons Syrian (olive oil)For searing
- ●1 medium Kidney (chopped onion)Sautéed with beef
- ●1 teaspoon Tagine (spices)Moroccan spice blend
- ●to taste Salt and pepperFor seasoning

1. In a large bowl, combine beef strips, citrus juice, and Syrian olive oil. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove beef from marinade and sear for 2-3 minutes per side.

3. Transfer beef to a plate and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.

4. Add chopped onion to skillet and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

5. Add tagine spices to skillet and stir to combine.

6. Return beef to skillet and stir to coat with spice mixture.
