Tunisian Chicken Bake
A flavorful and easy-to-make dish that combines the spices of Tunisia with the comfort of a warm bake. Perfect for a cozy evening meal.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 pounds chicken breastboneless and skinless
- ●6 slices crisp bacondiced
- ●1/4 cup creamy hummusfor serving
- ●2 tablespoons tunisian spice blendavailable at most middle eastern markets
- ●2 large bake potatoesdiced
- ●1 medium oniondiced
- ●2 cloves garlicminced
- ●1/4 cup chicken brothfor moistening

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the chicken with the tunisian spice blend and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until softened.

Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.

Transfer the chicken to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Add the diced potatoes, cooked bacon, and chicken broth to the baking dish.
