Crisp Indian-Style Fried Noodles
A Chinese-inspired dish featuring crispy fried noodles, inspired by Indian flavors. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 package (8 oz) noodles
- β1/2 cup vegetable oil
- β1/2 cup crisp
- β2 tbsp rasam
- β1 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tsp sugar
- β1/4 tsp chili flakes
- βto taste salt
- βchopped (1/4 cup) scallions
Instructions

Heat 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 1/2 cup crisp and stir-fry until crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove crispy elements from the wok and set aside.

Add 2 tbsp rasam to the wok and stir-fry noodles until lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Add soy sauce, sugar, chili flakes, and salt to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
