Crisp Samosas with Eastern Flair
A twist on the traditional Indian snack, these crispy samosas are filled with spiced potatoes and peas, served with a side of tangy chutney.
Ingredients
- β2 large Potatoes, peeled and dicedBoil until tender
- β1 cup Frozen peas
- β1 medium Onion, finely choppedSaute until translucent

- β1 teaspoon Eastern spice blend
- β1 package Middle eastern doughThaw according to package instructions
- β1 cup Vegetable oilFor frying

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Roll out the dough according to the package instructions, cutting into desired samosa shapes.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, peas, onion mixture, ginger, garlic, and lemon juice.

Add the Eastern spice blend to the potato mixture and mix well.

Place a spoonful of the potato mixture onto one half of a dough shape, and brush the edges with water.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal.

Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

Fry the samosas in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
