Crispy Algerian Dum Fries
A twist on traditional fries, this crispy algerian dum fry recipe is a delicious and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- β1 package Dum
- β2 cups Vegetable Oil
- β1 tsp Algerian Spice Blend
- βto taste Salt
- β1 tsp Sugar
- β1 cup Crispy Fried Shallots
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1 small Onion

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

2. Cut the dum into small, fry-shaped pieces and set aside.

3. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil and add the algerian spice blend, salt, sugar, garlic and onion. Cook until fragrant.

4. Add the dum pieces to the oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

5. Remove the dum from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

6. Sprinkle the crispy fried shallots and parsley over the fried dum.
