Crispy Australian Fritters
A sweet and crunchy dessert inspired by Australian flavors, made with crispy fritters and kinako for added depth.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Granulated sugar
- β1/2 cup Kinako powder
- β1 cup Bottled water
- β1 Egg, lightly beaten
- β2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- β1 package Crispy fritters

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.

Add the kinako powder and whisk until well combined.

Gradually add the water and mix until a smooth batter forms.

Add the beaten egg and melted butter, and mix until the batter is well combined.

Dip the crispy fritters into the batter, coating them evenly.

Carefully place the battered fritters into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
