Crispy Ethiopian Beef Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy stir fry dish made with crispy onions, tender beef, and Ethiopian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound beefsirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
- β1 large onioncrispy, chopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Ethiopian spice blendstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor stir-frying
- β2 cups beef brothlow-sodium
- β1 tablespoon stir-fry saucestore-bought or homemade
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Add the chopped crispy onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until tender.

Add the Ethiopian spice blend and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the beef broth and stir-fry sauce to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is coated.
