Crispy Fermented Dumplings
A unique fusion dish featuring crispy fermented dumplings with a crumble topping.
Ingredients
- β12 pieces Fermented Dumpling Wrappers
- β1 cup Fermented Kimchihomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup Vegetable Oilfor frying
- β1 cup Crumble Toppingsee below for ingredients
- β2 tsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tsp Sesame Oil

1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

2. Cut the fermented dumpling wrappers into desired shapes.

3. Add the fermented kimchi to the wrappers and seal the edges.

4. Fry the dumplings in batches until crispy and golden brown.

5. In a separate pan, cook the crumble topping over medium heat.

6. To make the crumble topping, mix together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup chopped scallions.

7. Add 1/4 cup chopped butter to the crumble topping and cook until crispy.

8. Serve the crispy fermented dumplings with the crumble topping and a drizzle of soy sauce and sesame oil.
