Tamarind Fritters

- β1/4 cup tamarind pastestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tsp herbal spice blendor to taste
- β1/4 cup crispy fried onionsoptional

- β3/4 cup water

- β1/4 tsp indian red chili powderoptional

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, tamarind paste, herbal spice blend, and salt.

Gradually add in water and mix until a smooth batter forms.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).
