Pan-Seared Crispy Duck Breast with Peppery Stir-Fried Vegetables

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the duck breast with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).

While the duck is cooking, heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the thinly sliced onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened. Add the peppercorns and stir to combine.

Add the chicken broth to the skillet and stir to deglaze. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the liquid has reduced slightly.
