Peruvian Sweet Potato Fries

- β1 cup vegetable oilfor frying

- β1 teaspoon garlic powderoptional
- β1/2 teaspoon paprikaoptional

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into long, thin strips.

In a bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

When the oil is hot, add a few sweet potato strips to the pan (do not overcrowd).
