Thai-Style Stir-Fried Cabbage with Sweetheart Lettuce
A quick and simple Thai-inspired stir-fry made with crunchy cabbage, sweet sweetheart lettuce, and crispy fried shallots.
Ingredients
- β1 head, thinly sliced cabbage
- β2 heads, chopped sweetheart lettuce
- β1/4 cup crispy fried shallots
- β2 tablespoons oilvegetable or peanut oil
- β2 cloves, minced garlic
- β1 tablespoon, minced ginger
- β2 tablespoons soy sauceor to taste
- β1 tablespoon sugar

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the thinly sliced cabbage and chopped sweetheart lettuce and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and sugar, and pour the sauce over the vegetables.
