Arabic Banana Fritters
Crunchy banana fritters with a hint of Arabic spices. Perfect as a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- β4 bananasripe
- β1 cup all-purpose flourunbleached
- β1 tsp arabic spicesmix of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger
- β1/2 cup sugargranulated
- β2 eggsbeaten
- β2 tbsp crunchy peanut buttercreamy
- β1 cup fritter mixstore-bought or homemade

1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.

2. Add the flour, arabic spices, sugar, eggs, and peanut butter to the bowl. Mix until a thick batter forms.

3. Gradually add the fritter mix to the batter, stirring until just combined.

4. Heat a deep frying pan with 2-3 inches of oil over medium-high heat.

5. Using a spoon, drop small balls of the batter into the oil, about 1/4 cup each.

6. Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

7. Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
