Beef Empanada Tartine
A French-inspired twist on the traditional Argentine empanada, served as a crispy tartine.
Ingredients

- β4 EmpanadasArgentinian-style empanadas
- β1 baguette, sliced CrunchyFor serving
- β2 tablespoons ButterUnsalted
- βto taste SaltFlaky
- βto taste Black pepperFreshly ground
- β1/4 cup Chopped parsleyOptional garnish

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick rounds.

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy.

Meanwhile, cook the ground beef in a pan over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Season the beef with salt and black pepper to taste.

Warm the empanadas according to package instructions.

To assemble the tartine, place a toasted baguette slice on a plate, top with a warm empanada, and spoon some of the beef mixture over the top.

Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
