Kenyan-Style Fried Fish
A flavorful and spicy fried fish dish inspired by Kenyan cuisine. Serve with a side of crunchy slaw made with crunchy slaw mix, lime juice, and a dash of hot sauce.
Ingredients

- β1 cup all-purpose flourseasoned with salt and pepper
- β2 tablespoons anchovy pastefor added umami flavor
- β1 cup lard or vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 cup crunchy slaw mixfor serving

1. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, anchovy paste, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

2. Dredge the fish pieces in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off excess.

3. Heat the lard or oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350Β°F.
