German-Style Pilaf with Seaweed

- β1 sheet dasima (dried seaweed)
- β1 piece kombu (dried seaweed)about 6 inches long
- β1 cup pilaf
- β2 tablespoons light vegetable oil
- β1 medium onion
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 cup crunchy vegetable
- β4 cups chicken broth

Rinse dasima and kombu under cold water, then cut kombu into smaller pieces.
