Uruguayan Crunchy Pecorino Fritters
A crispy, savory snack inspired by Uruguayan cuisine, made with crunchy vegetables and pecorino cheese.
Ingredients
- β1 cup 1 cup crunchy vegetablessuch as carrots, zucchini, and bell peppers

1. In a bowl, combine crunchy vegetables, flour, pecorino cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

3. Beat the egg in a separate bowl and add it to the vegetable mixture.

5. Heat about 1-2 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

6. When the oil is hot, use a spoon to drop small balls of the dough into the oil.
