Grilled Lamb Skewers with Crunchy Uruguayan Twist
A flavorful and easy-to-make grilled lamb skewers dish with a crunchy Uruguayan twist, perfect for a summer evening.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound (450g), cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes Lamb
- ●1/4 cup (60g), store-bought or homemade Uruguayan Salsa Criolla
- ●1/4 cup (15g), chopped Crunchy Chopped Fresh Cilantro
- ●1/4 cup (60ml) Olive Oil
- ●10-12 skewers Skewers (wooden or metal)
- ●to taste Salt and Pepper
- ●1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F/200°C).

2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, Uruguayan salsa criolla, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Add the lamb cubes to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.

4. Thread the lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each cube.

5. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the lamb reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare.

6. While the lamb is cooking, toast the crunchy chopped cilantro in a small skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
