Vietnamese Pho Soup
A delicious and comforting Vietnamese noodle soup made with beef broth, rice noodles, and your choice of beef.
Ingredients
- β1 package (200g) Rice noodles
- β4 cups Pho broth
- β1 pound Beef (sliced thin)Rare, thinly sliced beef for Pho
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 inches Ginger
- β1/4 cup Cilantro
- β2-3 Crunchy Vietnamese chili peppers

Begin by preparing the Pho broth: In a large stockpot, combine beef bones, onion, ginger, and 4 cups of water.

Bring the broth to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1 hour.

While the broth is cooking, cook the rice noodles according to package instructions.

Slice the beef into thin strips and cook in a separate pan until rare.

To assemble the Pho, place a portion of noodles into a bowl, then add sliced beef and ladle hot broth over the top.

Garnish with cilantro, crunchy chili peppers, and serve immediately.
