Vegan Mac and Cheese
A comforting vegan macaroni and cheese dish made with a dairy-free cheese sauce.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Macaroni
- β1/4 cup Vegan butter
- β2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- β2 tbsp Nutritional yeast
- β1 cup Condensed vegan milk
- β1 cup Vegan cheddar cheese shreds
- β1 tsp Comforting spicesPaprika and garlic powder
- βto taste Salt and pepper

Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large saucepan, melt the vegan butter over medium heat.

Add the flour and whisk to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in the condensed vegan milk, whisking constantly.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the nutritional yeast and comforting spices.

Add the vegan cheddar cheese shreds and stir until melted and smooth.

Combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce in a baking dish.
