Russian Beef Dumplings
A hearty Russian dish featuring pan-fried beef dumplings served with a side of tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef
- β2 cups All-purpose Flour
- β1 large Egg
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β1/4 cup Water
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- β20-25 wrappers Dumpling Wrappers
- β1 cup (optional) Fried Onions
- β1 cup (for serving) Sour Cream

Combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and egg in a bowl. Mix well.

Add water and mix until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth.

Divide the dough into 20-25 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it slightly into a disk shape.

Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each disk.

Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
