- β1 clove Garlic
- β1 tablespoon Ginger
- β2 teaspoons Malaysian curry powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 package Flaky pastry
- β1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- 2
In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat the oil and cook the beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- 3
Add the shallots, garlic, and ginger to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- 4
Add the curry powder, salt, and pepper to the pan and cook for an additional minute.
- 5
Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
- 6
Spoon the beef mixture onto one half of the pastry, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.
- 7
Brush the edges of the pastry with a little water and fold the other half of the pastry over the filling, pressing the edges to seal.
- 8
Use a knife to cut a few slits in the top of the pastry to allow steam to escape.
- 9
Brush the top of the pastry with a little oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 10
Serve hot and enjoy!
