Crunchy Santiago Shrimp Stir Fry
A Chinese-inspired stir fry with succulent shrimp, crunchy vegetables, and a hint of Spanish flair.
Ingredients
- β400g Shrimp (21/25 count)
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1 medium Spanish Onion
- β50g De Santiago Crunchy Tortilla Strips (or substitute with chow mein noodles)
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
- β2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tbsp Oyster Sauce (optional)
- β1 tsp Sesame Oil

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the Spanish onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

Add the shrimp and cook until pink and just cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir to combine.

Add the crunchy tortilla strips (or chow mein noodles) and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes, until combined.
