German Frittata
A dense and deliciously German twist on the classic Italian frittata.
Ingredients
- β6 Eggs
- β1 cup, shredded Brazilian cheddar cheese
- β1 cup Caramelized onions
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh parsley
- β Salt and pepper
- β1 tsp German mustard
- β2 tbsp Butter
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

Add the caramelized onions and cook for 2-3 minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and German mustard.

Pour the egg mixture over the onions in the skillet.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the eggs start to set.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the frittata is set and golden brown.

Remove the skillet from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
