Ukrainian Lamb Dumplings
Traditional Ukrainian dish featuring tender lamb-filled dumplings served in a flavorful broth.
Ingredients

- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 large Egg
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleyChopped

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, flour, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add milk and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of chopped onion and minced garlic in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and press edges together to seal.

Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat and cook dumplings for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer dumplings to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 15-20 minutes.

While dumplings are baking, prepare the broth by combining 4 cups of water with 2 cups of beef broth in a large pot.

Bring the broth to a boil and then reduce heat to low.

Serve the dumplings in the broth and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
