Spicy Indian-Style Basmati Biryani
A flavorful and aromatic basmati rice biryani dish infused with the warmth of Indian spices. This recipe is perfect for a weekend lunch or dinner.
Ingredients

- ●2 cups Waterfor cooking rice
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●1-inch piece Gingergrated
- ●1 teaspoon Cumin seedswhole
- ●1 teaspoon Coriander powderground
- ●1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powderground
- ●1/2 teaspoon Red chili powderground
- ●to taste Saltadjust according to taste

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Add chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent.

Add grated ginger and sauté for another minute.
