Eton Mess Dessert
A classic British dessert made with meringue, strawberries, and whipped cream.
Ingredients
- β200g Eton mess
- β400g Fresh strawberries
- β250g Meringue
- β250ml Double cream
- β100g Caster sugar
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions

Crush 200g of meringue into small pieces.

Hull and slice 400g of strawberries, then set aside.

In a separate bowl, whip 250ml of double cream until it begins to thicken.

Add 100g of caster sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.

Fold the whipped cream into the crushed meringue until well combined.

Add the sliced strawberries to the mixture and gently fold until they are evenly distributed.

Drizzle 2 tbsp of lemon juice over the top of the mixture and serve immediately.

Spoon the mixture into individual serving dishes and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes before serving.
