Chinese Tofu Stir Fry
A quick and easy stir fry recipe made with tofu and noodles, inspired by Chinese cuisine.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) TofuPress and drain excess water before cutting into small cubes
- β8 oz Dense NoodlesRice noodles or udon work well for this recipe
- β2 tbsp Vegetable OilFor stir frying
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1-inch piece GingerGrated
- β2 tbsp Soy SauceFor marinade and stir frying
- β1 tsp Sesame OilFor added flavor
- β1 bunch ScallionsChopped for garnish

1. Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

2. Cut tofu into small cubes and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of sugar for at least 15 minutes.

3. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger and stir fry for 30 seconds.

5. Add marinated tofu and stir fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

6. Add chopped scallions and stir fry for another minute.

7. Stir in cooked noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes, until well combined.

8. Season with additional soy sauce if needed.

9. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.
