Ethiopian Paneer Wot
A spicy and flavorful Ethiopian-inspired wot dish made with paneer cheese. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- ●250g Paneercut into small cubes
- ●2 cups Dense tomato sauce
- ●1 large Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 inches Gingergrated
- ●2 tsp Ethiopian spices
- ●2 tbsp Olive oil
- ●1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and sauté for another minute.

Add the Ethiopian spices and stir well.

Add the tomato sauce and stir well.

Add the paneer cubes and stir well to coat with the sauce.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the paneer is fully coated and the sauce has thickened.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.

Serve with injera bread or rice, if desired.
