Galician-Style Banana Fritters
A sweet and crispy dessert inspired by traditional Galician cuisine. Fried banana fritters, perfect for a quick dessert.

- β1/4 cup Salmorejodiluted with milk to a thick batter
- β1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- β1 Large eggbeaten
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oilfor frying

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix the beaten egg, diluted salmorejo, and a splash of milk.

Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch rounds.

Dip each banana slice into the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350Β°F.

Fry the banana fritters in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
