Lomo Saltado Stir Fry
A Peruvian-inspired beef stir fry with garlicky flavors. Perfect for a quick dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef strips (lomo)Slice into thin strips
- β2 tablespoons Dense, garlicky stir-fry sauceHomemade or store-bought
- β1 teaspoon Peruvian saltado seasoningAvailable at most Asian markets
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β1 medium OnionThinly sliced
- β1 medium Bell pepperThinly sliced
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 cup Cooked riceFor serving
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the beef back into the skillet and stir in the stir-fry sauce and seasoning.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Serve the beef and sauce over cooked rice.
