Portuguese Semolina Casserole
A traditional Portuguese-inspired dessert made with semolina, dense and perfect for a warm evening.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Semolina
- β1 cup Dense milk
- β1 cup Granulated sugar
- β4 Large eggsAt room temperature
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- β1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine the semolina and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the semolina thickens and comes away from the sides of the pan.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.

Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon powder. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a buttered 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is golden brown and set.
