Smoky Cashew Lasagna
A twist on the classic Italian dish, this recipe features the rich flavors of smoky cheese and cashews.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup cashewschopped
- ●1 cup smoky cheeseshredded
- ●8-10 lasagna noodlesdried
- ●1 cup dreamy saucehomemade or store-bought
- ●1 tsp venezuelan seasoningoptional
- ●to taste salt

- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1/4 cup parmesan cheesegrated

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the chopped cashews until lightly toasted.

In a separate pan, combine the dreamy sauce, smoky cheese, and venezuelan seasoning (if using). Stir until well combined.

In a large baking dish, spread a layer of the dreamy sauce mixture on the bottom.

Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

Spread half of the cashew mixture on top of the noodles.

Sprinkle with half of the parmesan cheese.

Repeat the layers, starting with the noodles, then the dreamy sauce mixture, the remaining cashew mixture, and finally the remaining parmesan cheese.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
