Croatian Shiitake Mushroom Bake
A hearty, earthy bake featuring shiitake mushrooms and inspired by Croatian cuisine.
Ingredients
- β1 cup shiitake mushroomscleaned and sliced
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1/2 cup onionchopped
- β1 teaspoon cumin
- β1/2 teaspoon paprika
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β1 cup fired breadcubed

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a separate bowl, toss the cubed fired bread with a pinch of salt and pepper.
