Uruguayan Beef Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Uruguay, featuring tender beef and a rich blend of spices.
Ingredients

- β1 medium Onion
- β2 medium Carrot
- β2 medium Potato
- β2 teaspoons Uruguayan earthy spices blend
- β1 cup Red wine
- β2 cups Beef broth
- β2 tablespoons Tomato paste

- βto taste Black pepper

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the beef until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pot.

Add the onion, carrot, and potato to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add the Uruguayan earthy spices blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add the red wine and beef broth to the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

Return the beef to the pot and bring to a boil.
