Beef and Pilaf Stroganoff
A classic Russian dish made with sautéed beef and served over a bed of creamy pilaf.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Beef strips
- ●1 cup Pilaf
- ●1 cup Mushrooms
- ●1 medium Onions
- ●2 cloves Garlic
- ●1 cup Sour creamfor serving
- ●2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
- ●2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions

Cook the pilaf according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.

Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the onions and cook until they are translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the Dijon mustard.

Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the beef is coated in the sauce.

Stir in the cooked pilaf and cook for 1-2 minutes, until everything is well combined.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, topped with a dollop of sour cream.
