Turkish-Style Lentil Curry
A popular Indian-inspired dish made with red lentils, spices, and a touch of Turkish flavor.

Ingredients
- β1 cup red lentils
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1-inch piece ginger
- β1 medium tomato
- β1 tsp coriander powder
- β1 tsp cumin powder
- β1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- βto taste salt
- β2 cups water
- β2 tbsp corbasioptional

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onion is translucent.

Add tomato, coriander powder, cumin powder, and turmeric powder. Cook for 1 minute.

Add red lentils and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
