Japanese Pasta with Mediterranean Twist
A fusion of Japanese flavors with a Mediterranean twist on pasta. This unique dish combines the freshness of lemon and the zing of ebullient herbs with the richness of pasta.
Ingredients
- β8 oz (225g) Pasta
- β1 tsp (5g) EbullientChopped fresh herbs such as basil or parsley
- β1 tsp (5g) MediterraneanChopped olives or artichoke hearts
- β1/2 lemon, juiced Lemon
- β2 tbsp (30ml) Soy sauce
- β1 tbsp (15ml) Sesame oil
- β1 clove, minced Garlic
- β1 tsp (5g), grated Ginger
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the ebullient, Mediterranean, soy sauce, and lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
