German Shiro Frittata
A German-inspired twist on the Italian classic, using Ethiopian shiro for added depth of flavor.
Ingredients
- β6 Egg
- β2 tablespoons Shiro
- β1 cup Free-range Chicken Broth
- β1 teaspoon Ethiopian Herbes de Provence
- β1/2 teaspoon Herbes de Provence
- β1/4 teaspoon De Provence Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the Herbes de Provence and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the Shiro and cook for 2 minutes, until lightly browned.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Crack in the eggs and stir to combine.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the eggs are set.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with De Provence Salt and Black Pepper to taste.
