Creamy Cannellini Bean and Orecchiette Pasta
A hearty Italian-inspired pasta dish loaded with cannellini beans, garlic, and parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- β8 oz orecchiette pasta
- β15 oz cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- β3 cloves garlic, minced
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- β1 tsp italian seasoning
- β salt and pepper, to taste
- β2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- β2 tbsp lemon juice

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the orecchiette pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the cannellini beans and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Stir in the parmesan cheese and italian seasoning until melted and well combined.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked orecchiette pasta to the skillet and toss with the cannellini bean mixture.

Transfer the pasta to a serving dish and top with chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.
