French Mushroom Terrine
A rich and earthy French terrine made with sautéed mushrooms and served as a side dish. Perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
- ●2 cups, mixed varieties MushroomsSuch as button, cremini, and shiitake
- ●1 bunch, chopped Energizing GreensAdd a boost of energy to your dish.
- ●1 baguette, cubed French LoafThe base of our terrine.
- ●8 oz, cooked and crumbled Terrine MeatChoose a lean meat, such as chicken or turkey.
- ●2 tbsp Olive OilFor sautéing the mushrooms.
- ●to taste SaltSeason to taste.
- ●to taste Black PepperSeason to taste.
- ●2 cloves, minced GarlicFor added flavor.
- ●1 tsp, dried ThymeA classic French herb.
- ●1/4 cup BreadcrumbsFor added texture.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to the mushrooms and stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cubed baguette, crumbled terrine meat, and chopped energizing greens.

Layer the mushroom mixture and meat mixture in a terrine dish, ending with a layer of mushrooms on top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the terrine is heated through.
