Thai Larb Meatballs
Spicy Thai-inspired meatballs made with ground meat and a variety of Thai seasonings. Serve with steamed rice for a flavorful and filling meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground meat
- β2 Thai red chili peppers
- β2 tablespoons Fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- β1 teaspoon Larb seasoning
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1 Egg
- β1/4 cup All-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, Thai red chili peppers, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, larb seasoning, garlic, and egg. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

When ready to cook, use your hands to shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, mix the flour with a little water to create a slurry.

Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the slurry to coat.

Serve the meatballs hot with steamed rice and your favorite Thai-style toppings.
