Kenyan Fish Bread
A hearty and flavorful bread topped with a spicy fish mixture, perfect for a Kenyan-inspired meal.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf Breadpreferably a day-old loaf
- β1 pound Fish (tilapia or catfish)cut into small pieces
- β1 tablespoon Energizingor any hot pepper of your choice
- β1 teaspoon Kenyangor any other Kenyan spice blend
- β1 teaspoon active dry yeast Yeastfor bread
- β1/2 teaspoon Saltto taste

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

In a pan, heat the energizing and kenyang over medium heat.

Add the fish pieces to the pan and cook until they're opaque and flake easily with a fork.

Stir in the salt to taste.

Add the bread cubes to the pan and toss to coat with the fish mixture.

Transfer the bread and fish mixture to a baking dish.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the fish is heated through.
