Egyptian Custard Delight
A sweet and creamy dessert inspired by Egyptian cuisine, featuring exotic spices and a rich custard texture.
Ingredients
- β1 tsp Exotic spice blend
- β1 cup Egyptian custard
- β2 tbsp Tomato pastefor added depth of flavor
- β1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- β1 cup Heavy cream
- β2 Large eggsat room temperature

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the custard, sugar, and exotic spice blend. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it cool to room temperature.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and a pinch of salt. Temper the eggs by slowly pouring the cooled custard mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly.

Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish or individual ramekins.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.

Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
